USF Finishes Kitahara Invitational Tied for 17th

(Fresno, CA) - USF ended the second day of the Kitahara Fresno State Invitational on Tuesday at the Copper River Country Club shooting a 309, but fell a place and finished tied for 17th.

UC Irvine (285-286) held on to first place with a 5-under 571, Long Beach State (+4) finished second with rounds of 296-284 - 580 and New Mexico State came in third (294-302 - 596/+20).

Junior Kristin Nichols led the Dons on Day two, finishing with a 75. She was second on the team overall after an 82 on Day one to end the Invitational with a 157. Junior Eloise Vicencio also shot a 157 two day total (80-77).

Sophomore Jessica Potter held the lowest two day total for USF, finishing with a 155 (78-77).

Women's Golf returns to action March 6-8 at the San Jose State Spartan Invitational.
