SEDONA, Calif. - Mary Kate Morgan shot a pair of 74's to finish tied for third Sunday at the Red Rocks Invitational Women's Golf Tournament hosted by Northern Colorado University at the Oak Creek Country Club.
The tournament was suspended by darkness with several golfers still on the course Saturday, with the first round completed Sunday morning followed by the second round.
Morgan tied for third with Justine Hix of Portland State University and Alice Kim of Tournament champion Northwestern University. Lillian Alvarez of Northwestern and Diana Hong of Washington State University shared medalist honors at 147.
The Wildcats won the tournament with a 601 while Gonzaga was 11th at 647, two shots out of 10th behind William & Mary College.
