The USF Dons fired a final round 290 to finish sixth with a total of 593 in the Peg Bernard Invitational that concluded Saturday at the Stanford Golf Course.
The Dons finished just one stroke behind Hawaii and Long Beach State who tied for fourth.
USF was paced by Jessica Potter, who fired a 69 Saturday to finish tied for seventh as an individual with a 36 hole total of one over par 143.Christina Stockton shot a par Saturday and finished with a 148, Eloise Vicencio had a 149 total, Natasha Podmore a 156 and Kristin Nichols and 157.
The Dons are next in action at the WCC Championships starting on April 18th.
Led by senior Lauren Todd's four-under par 67 today, the Stanford women's golf team won the event with a final two-day score of four-over par 572 (287-285), after shooting a 285 Saturday. The Cardinal claimed a three stroke victory over Denver, who came in second with a 576.
