USF Women's Golf 11th After Opening Round of Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational

(Sammamish, WA) - USF women's golf shot a 316 during the opening round of the 2007 Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational Monday at the Sahalee Country Club. The Dons are in 11th place in the 16-team field with the second round scheduled for Tuesday, followed by final round action Wednesday on the par-72 course playing at 6,127 yards.

Sophomores Danielle Cvitanov and Christina Stockton each carded 77 and are in a logjam in a share of 20th place on the leader board. Cvitanov led the way with 12 pars during the round, while Stockton recorded a team-high two birdies.

Southern California leads the field with an opening round 296, followed by Arizona State (301), Stanford (304), California (305) and Arizona (305). USC's Belen Mozo and ASU's Anna Nordquist lead the 28th annual event with a two-under 70.
