Freshman Misun Cho shot a 2-over par 74 to help the fourth-ranked Pepperdine women's golf team to a 19-over par 307 during Tuesday's second round of the Washington Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational that is being played at the par-72, 6,130-yard Sahalee Country Club in Redmond, Washington.
The Waves have a 36-hole total of 33-over par 609 and are in fourth place, nine shots behind Stanford, which shot a 9-over par 297 to post the day's low round. The Cardinal stands at 24-over par 600 and has a one-shot advantage over New Mexico (601).
Arizona State (605) is third, followed by Pepperdine and Arizona (614).
Stanford's Mari Chun shot an even-par 72 and holds a six-shot advantage over New Mexico's Jodi Ewart. Chun has a 36-hole total of 4-under par 140 while Ewart is at 2-over par 146. New Mexico's Py Bengtsson and USC's Paola Moreno are tied for fifth at 3-over par 147.
Two players are tied for fifth with 4-over par scores of 148 while Cho is among a group of three players tied for seventh with 5-over par totals of 149.
Junior Stephanie Gelleni is one of four players tied for 12th at 7-over par 151.
