-The Gonzaga men posted rounds of 301-297-295 to finish in third place at the Kaua'i Collegiate Cup hosted by Western Kentucky University.
-Sophomore Brandon Crick shot a final-round 79 to finish tied for second overall. Coming in second for the Zags was senior Trevor Loe who finished in a four-way tie for 12th place.
-The women's team finished 11th at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational hosted by the University of Hawaii.
-Freshman Rachel Sibbitt shot a 237 to lead the Zags with a 24th place finish. Fellow freshman, Sage Suffecool, finished just behind Sibbit with a 239, good for a tie at 33rd.
-Next up the men will participate in the Colorado Invitational, played in Stevinson, California, while the women travel to Arizona for the Cowgirl Classic, hosted by the University of Wyoming.
Loyola Marymount Lions
-A final round of 288 helped the Loyola Marymount men's golf team to a ninth place finish at the 2008 Fresno State Lexus Golf Classic.
-Jason D'Amore led the Lions with a final round 67, the best among the 104-man field that day, to move from a tie at 37th into a tie for 11th, his 27th career top-20 finish.
-Junior Brian Locke also posted a top-20 finish for the 28th time in his career with a three-round 213. He finished in a tie for 14th, posting rounds of 72, 68, and 73.
-Earlier this month, the Lions finished eighth at the USC Collegiate Invitational, placing higher than three top-50 teams, to bring LMU's ranking from 78 to 67.
-Next up the Lions will compete in the Ogio Pacifc Coast Intercollegiate held at Rancho San Marcos Golf Club March 30-April 1.
-The Pepperdine men's golf team finished the National Invitational Tournament in seventh place at the Omni Tucson National in Tucson, Arizona.
-Andrew Putnam shot a four-under-par 68 on the final day to finish tied for fifth place at -5 after beginning the day in a tie for 14th. Andrew Widmar was the Waves' second highest finisher, as he finished tied for 21st at +2 after posting a 74 on Tuesday.
-Jesse Barnsley finished in a tie for 39th at +6, Carl Smith finished tied for 55th at +10, and Eric Shriver finished in 77th at +25.
-Despite taking several weeks off between tournaments, the Pepperdine women's team has held on to their national ranking, remaining at #18.
-Next the men compete at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate and the women in the ASU Invite.
-The Portland men's team claimed a seventh place finish at the Oregon Duck Invitational with a total score of 897.
-Joel Johnson fired a six-over par 222 during the 54-hole tournament to tie for 15th individually. Thomas Robertson closed with an even-par 72 during the final round and just missed a top-20 finish, coming in 21st with a 224.
-The Pilots' women's team combined for a 36-hole total of 644 to win the Elco Inc. Intercollegiate, hosted by Cal State Bakersfield at the Bakersfield Country Club.
-Taryn Kuida shot identical 79's and was Portland's top individual finisher in second place. Kalyn Dodge finished tied for third after recording a two-over-par 76 to lead after the first round.
-The women next compete at the Matador Spring Classic (4/7-8) in Moorpark, California.
Saint Mary's Gaels
-The No. 48 ranked Saint Mary's men's team overcame a 14-stroke deficit to post a one-shot victory over No. 23-ranked Michigan State and UC Irvine, to capture the team title at the 62nd Annual Western Intercollegiate golf tournament.
-Senior Mike McRae was the Gaels' top finisher, coming in second, just two strokes behind first with a six-over-par 216.
-Daniel Cone, Chadd Cocco and Josh Kelley all finshed as members of a nine-way tie for 21st place after the three rounds. Cocco posted a team-low round of 73 on the final day.
-Saint Mary's will return to action in the Colorado Stevinson Ranch Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, April 7-8.
San Diego Toreros
-The USD golf team placed 5th out of 15 teams at the 2008 Ron Moore Invitational after two impressive opening team rounds of 277 & 278.
-Junior Blake Trimble carded three solid rounds, highlighed by a six-under-par 66 during the second round, to finish tied for 5th overall at 209.
-Jason Shano was the second highest finisher for the Toreros, coming in at a tie for 28th with a total score of 216. Just behind Shano were Jake Yount, who tied for 34th, and Darrin Hall in a tie for 40th.
-The Toreros continue their season as they travel to Austin, Texas for the Morris Williams Intercollegiate April 7th-8th.
San Francisco Dons
-USF men's golf shot a final round 302 to claim 12th place at the 2008 Pinhurst International in North Carolina
-After posting a one-under 71 in the final round, Kurt Nino was the top finisher for the Dons, securing a share of 10th place at 223.
-USF women's golf shattered its 54-hole tournament scoring record and recorded its lowest round of the season in the final round of the UNLV Spring Rebel Invitational to finish fifth.
-Sophomore Christina Stockton shared fifth place on the final leader board with a three-under 213, while senior Jessica Potter seized a share of eighth place with a 214.
-The men's team continues their season at the Ogio Pacific Coast Intercollegiate, while the women's team will compete in the in the NCAA West Preview in Sacramento, beginning 3/31.
Santa Clara Broncos
-The Santa Clara men's golf team claimed an 11th place finish at the 16-team Western Intercollegiate.
-Sophomore Jimmy Cacho led the Broncos with a 13-over-par 223 to finish in a tie for 17th place, marking his fourth top-20 finish of the year.
-The Bronco women's golf team took second place at the UCSC Spring Invite in Santa Cruz earlier this month.
-Corey Utsurogi led the Broncos with a second place finish at +12, just one stroke out of first place. Hilaire Fouts notched her first top-10 finish of the year, coming in 10th with a score of 166.
-Next up the women will compete in the NCAA West Preview in Sacramento beginning March 31, while the men travel to Scottsdale, AZ for the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, April 8-9.
