SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has named its Women's Golf Player of the Month for March.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE WOMEN'S GOLF PLAYER OF THE MONTH -- ALEX WHITE, SO. - BYU
After missing the entire 2014 Fall Season, sophomore Alex White recovered and enjoyed a strong month of March for BYU. Though she still has quite a bit of neck and back pain, White returned to the field in February and is making an impact for the Cougars as it prepares for the 2015 WCC Golf Championships.

March was the biggest month of White's young golfing career. On March 16-17, BYU hosted Entrada Classic to not only win the tournament, but also set a decade-long tournament record, carding an 8-under 208 (67, 73, 68). White surged on the back nine of her final round, recording birdies on Nos. 15, 17 and 18 to come back from second place and win by two strokes.

In her final event of the month, White finished tied for 21st at 1-over 217 (70, 72, 75) at the Mountain View Collegiate. For the month, White carded four rounds at par or better and had two rounds in the 60s.

Also Nominated: Tatiana Wijaya, Pepperdine
