SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has named its Women's Golf Player of the Month for April.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE WOMEN'S GOLF PLAYER OF THE MONTH -- MARISSA CHOW, JR. - PEPPERDINE
In Pepperdine's only tournament in April, Chow earned medalist honors at the WCC Championships. She went from a tie for fifth place heading into the final round all the way up to first in order to claim her second tournament title of the season.

Chow edged teammate Somin Lee by one shot. Chow won the tournament down the stretch. As most players struggled against a challenging course and high winds, she posted three birdies and just one bogey over the final seven holes. Chow also helped Pepperdine overcome a final-round deficit as the Waves won their 14th consecutive team title.
