Pepperdine junior Grace Na is WCC Women's Golfer of the Month

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference is pleased to recognize its September Women's Golfer of the Month, Grace Na from Pepperdine University.

GRACE NA, JUNIOR, PEPPERDINE

Pepperdine junior Grace Na is the the WCC Women's Golfer of the Month for September. Na became the first Pepperdine player in nearly a decade to shoot consecutive scores below par at the season's first two tournaments.

Na led the Waves to a team title at the Golfweek Conference Challenge when she shot 69-70-73-212 (-4) to tie for second place. She followed that up with 71-71-76-218 (-1) at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational, good for a fourth-place tie.

Four of Na's six rounds in September were below par. Her stroke average for the six rounds was 71.67. Na, a preseason All-American, is currently ranked 21st nationally in the Golfweek/Sagarin ratings, best in the conference.
