Pepperdine's Marissa Chow Named WCC Women's Golf Player of the Month - September

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference has named its Women's Golf Player of the Month for September.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE WOMEN'S GOLF PLAYER OF THE MONTH - MARISSA CHOW, JR. - PEPPERDINE
Pepperdine junior Marissa Chow won her first collegiate tournament (the Golfweek Conference Challenge) and posted two other excellent finishes during September. She averaged 71.22 strokes per round and played the three tournaments at a combined 10-under. Six of her nine rounds were below par and only two were above par. Chow's start helped her to a No. 9 national ranking in the first Golfweek/Sagarin rating of the year, and she's currently No. 15 in Golfstat. 

Chow won the Golfweek Conference Challenge by four strokes and also finished sixth at the Dick McGuire Invitational and tied for 11th at the Annika Intercollegiate. Chow helped Pepperdine win the team title at the Golfweek Conference Challenge for the third straight year. At that event, her 54-hole score of 6-under tied her career best, while her final-round score of 5-under also tied a career best.
