Kelly Steinhaus Earns All-America Honors

June 8, 2007

SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University junior women's rower Kelly Steinhaus has been named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Pocock All-America second-team as announced by the CRCA earlier this week. The awards recognize the outstanding performances of rowers from each of the five Division I regions, organized into first and second-team selections. Steinhaus is only the second-ever Zag to earn All-America honors and the first Bulldog rower to garner the distinction since Maria Bokulich earned the honor in 2004.

Steinhaus, a U-23 National Team tryout invitee, helped Gonzaga win its 10th West Coast Conference title earlier this season. She was named All-West Coast Conference, along with CRCA All-Region and All-Academic.
