June 14, 2006

The University of San Diego had seven student-athletes named to their respective 2006 West Coast Conference Spring All-Academic teams. At the completion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each of the participating sponsored sports. To be considered, a student-athlete must earn at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his or her team. Women's Rowing led the Torero spring sports by having three student-athletes named to the 11-member team.

USD's seven student-athletes include senior Elizabeth Sibulsky (3.71, History), sophomore Aubrey Klaich (3.79, Psychology), and sophomore Cristina Valadez (3.62, Visual Arts) from women's rowing; senior Pierrick Ysern (3.61, Business Administration) and senior Oscar Plotnik (3.47, Business Administration) from men's tennis; junior Brittany Reitz (3.62, Business Administration) from women's tennis; and senior Jimmy Harris (3.53, Business Administration) from men's golf.
