SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Tara Hodgson and Allison Wolters each tally a goal to lift the University of San Diego women's soccer team to a 2-0 shutout win over the University of San Francisco in both teams' regular-season finale Saturday afternoon.

With the win, the Toreros close the regular season with a 12-8-0 overall record and a 3-4-0 mark in the West Coast Conference and run their win streak to three. USD also keeps hope alive for an at-large berth into the NCAA Tournament. The filed of 64 will be announced on Monday afternoon between 12-1 p.m. on a live television broadcast on ESPNEWS. With the loss, the Dons fall to 5-13-2 overall and 1-5-1 in the WCC.

San Diego would score the only goal they would need in the 38th minute of play as Jackie Garcia sent a pass to Hodgson, who corralled the ball, and rocked off a shot from 18 yards out that found the back of the net.

19 minutes later, Wolters put the game out of reach. Hodgson was in a giving mood this time as she sent a cross to Wolters, who in turn hit a laser shot from 15 yards out into the upper right corner of the goal to give USD the 2-0 win.

Brittany Cameron posted her third consecutive shutout in goal for the Toreros as she recorded four saves in the win. Her counterpart, Katie Hodgson, took the loss for the Dons allowing two goals and recording four saves.

San Diego out shot the Dons 10-9, but the Dons held a territorial advantage in corner kicks at 8-4.

The Toreros will now await the NCAA Tournament selection show on Monday to learn if they have indeed earned an at-large berth into the Women's Soccer College Cup Tournament.
