SAN BRUNO, Calif. --After a pair of one-nil victories last week, unbeaten Pepperdine has climbed into the national Top 5. Meanwhile, Santa Clara has won five straight and Gonzaga is unbeaten in its last five matches. WCC play resumes on Thursday, with four teams in action.

  • Pepperdine junior Anisa Guajardo was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Month for September. Guajardo scored eight goals -- including three game-winners -- through September's matches.

  • Pepperdine senior Laura Cole is this week's WCC Player of the Week. Click here to read more.

  • BYU senior Jennie Marshall netted the game-winning goal in overtime against Portland, propelling the Cougars to their first-ever West Coast Conference victory on Thursday.

  • Gonzaga junior GK Susan Brown collected 14 saves in a pair of WCC ties over the weekend. The Bulldogs are unbeaten in their last five matches.

  • Pepperdine and Saint Mary's are the only two teams in the WCC who have yet to suffer a home loss. The Waves (5-0-1) are on the road this week, while the Gaels (7-0-1) will put their home mark on the line Friday against Loyola Marymount.
