LMU's Jagger named WCC Player of the Week for second time

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has named its women's soccer Player of the Week for October 22, 2012.

BRITTANY JAGGER, JR., GK, LOYOLA MARYMOUNT

For the second time this season, Loyola Marymount junior GK Brittany Jagger is the West Coast Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week. Jagger posted her fifth and sixth shutouts of the season as LMU earned a 3-0 upset on the road at 15th-ranked Pepperdine, and a 1-0 overtime victory over San Francisco last week. On Friday in Malibu, Jagger faced an onslaught of offensive pressure from the Waves, making eight saves in 90 minutes of action. On Sunday, the Lions remained unbeaten in overtime matches this season and Jagger finished with three saves for her sixth clean sheet.
