SAN BRUNO, Calif. --The 2011 West Coast Conference regular season concludes this week, with the title still up for grabs. On Friday, No. 8 Pepperdine looks to keep its title hopes alive when the Waves host San Francisco. Later that evening, No. 7 Santa Clara and San Diego collide (6 p.m., ESPNU). • Santa Clara and San Diego meet in a nationally-televised match Friday night (ESPNU). A Broncos victory gives SCU its first WCC title since 2006. • Santa Clara climbed into first place atop the WCC standings after a 1-0 win over previously-unbeaten Pepperdine. The Broncos are unbeaten in their last 11 matches.
