Portland's Frisbie named WCC Player of the Month

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has named its Women's Soccer Player of the Month for October 2012.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE MONTH
AMANDA FRISBIE, JR., F, PORTLAND

Portland junior forward Amanda Frisbie is the West Coast Conference Player of the Month for October. Frisbie led the Pilots with five goals, two assists and 11 points during October to help Portland go 4-2-1 and end the month on a four-game winning streak. She also had two game-winners and scored a pair of goals during a 3-0 win at Saint Mary's on Oct. 21. Frisbie ended the month as the conference leader in goals (11), goals per game (0.65), points (28) and points per game (1.65). 55 percent of her shots during the month were on-target.
