WCC Announces Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week Honors

SAN BRUNO, Calif. --  The West Coast Conference has named its Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week for February 10, 2014.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PITCHER OF THE WEEK
JENNY LAHITTE, SR., RHP, SAN DIEGO
Jenny Lahitte posted a 2-1 record in three starts during the opening weekend. The righthander posted a 3.86 ERA and struck out 20 batters in 18.2 IP, while holding hitters to a .247 average. Lahitte collected her first victory of the season with a complete game against UC Davis with five strikeouts and struck out six in a win against UNLV.

Feb. 10: Jenny Lahitte, San Diego

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MCKENZIE ST. CLAIR, FR., OF, BYU
In the first action of her career, St. Clair led the Cougars in almost every statistical category in the Red Desert Classic. She finished the weekend hitting .667 with two home runs, seven RBIs, seven runs, a .714 on base percentage and a 1.250 slugging percentage in five games. She was responsible for 14 of the 33 runs scored by BYU.
