San Diego Hosts Conference Opponent Sacramento State

The University of San Diego softball team, currently 18-16 overall and 6-2 in PCSC, will host the Sacramento State University Hornets, 25-16 overall and 4-4 in PCSC, this upcoming weekend at the USD Softball Complex.

The Toreros hold sole possession of second place, just one half-game behind the first place Vikings of Portland State University. Sacramento State is currently tied for second with Santa Clara.

The Toreros are currently on a four game win streak after sweeping the Gaels at Saint Mary's this past weekend. Sara Mason is hitting 34-fofr-97 (.351), the highest batting average on the team, with eight doubles, three triples, one homerun, 22 RBI, and 23 runs scored.
