O'Connor finished with a .625 average, seven RBI, two runs, two singles, a double, a triple and a home run. With the first game tied 2-2 in the fourth, O'Connor hammered a two-run shot to center field through a strong wind to give the Cougars a lead they would not relinquish. In the next inning, O'Connor tripled into the right-field corner to score two more. She then batted in the game-ending run with a double to right center with one out in the sixth.
