West Coast Conference Announces 2014 Softball All-Academic Team

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference is pleased to announce the inaugural 2014 West Coast Conference Softball All-Academic Team. The list is headlined junior Erica Musgrave of Saint Mary’s who owns a 4.00 GPA in Mathematics. Five sophomores debut on the 16-member first team in their first season of eligibility for the squad.

Each softball institution placed at least a pair on the All-Academic first team, paced by four from Pacific. Eleven of the 16 honorees posted a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better. 

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport.  To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team.
