Malibu, Calif. - The Pepperdine women's swimming and diving team resumes action this weekend when it competes at the UC Irvine Invitational held at the Anteater Aquatics Complex on UC Irvine's campus.
The Invitational will include three separate meets as well as a diving invitational. The events start off with sprints at 9:00 a.m. followed by distance on Saturday. Sunday will feature a relay meet starting at 10:00 a.m. Diving will take place over both days.
The Invitational will feature a total of 18 women's teams and 13 men's teams. A total of 12 NCAA Division I schools will compete in the meet; UC Irvine, Purdue, Texas Christian, Texas A&M, UNLV, Toledo, Cal Poly, Cal State Northridge, Pepperdine, San Diego State, Cleveland State and Stony Brook.
The Waves last competed in November, when they placed 12th out of 20 teams at the Speedo Cup in Long Beach, California.
