Malibu, Calif. - The Pepperdine women's swimming and diving team will kick off its dual meet schedule in front of a home crowd on Saturday when it faces Cal State Northridge at noon.
The Waves should see much success this spring season after a myriad of school records were broken in the fall and senior Alison McLeod became the first swimmer to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
Missing a meet against the Matadors last season due to inclement weather, the Waves last met their upcoming opponent during the 2005 season when the Matadors captured the 158-136 victory. Northridge leads the all-time series against the Waves 15-13.
