Pepperdine Swimming Competes at Pacific Coast Swimming Conference Championships Beginning Wednesday

Malibu, Calif. - The Pepperdine women's swimming and diving team will compete in the culminating event of the season at the Pacific Coast Swimming Conference (PCSC) Championships in Long Beach, Calif. held at the Belmont Plaza. Action will kick off Wednesday, February 8 and will continue into Saturday, February 11.

The Waves will compete against 13 other schools including LMU, UC San Diego, Biola, Cal State Bakersfield, Cal Baptist, Soka, UC Santa Cruz, Chapman, UA Fairbanks, Northern Colorado, North Florida, Texas Permian Basin and Seattle.

In 2005, Pepperdine placed fourth out of 12 teams with 903 points, which brought their Top 5 streak to eight years. UC San Diego took the title with 1449 points, while Cal Baptist placed second with 1131 points and LMU placed third with 930 points.
