USF Women's Tennis Falls at Pacific 5-2

(Stockton, CA) - USF women's tennis suffered a 5-2 decision Sunday to Pacific Sunday in non-conference action at the Hal Nelson Tennis Courts. The Dons (1-3) battled but the Tigers (3-2) won the doubles point and swept the top three singles spots to secure the match win.

Jenny Sperry posted a 6-4, 6-2 win against Carla Tamborini at No. 4 singles, while Sarah Oudomvilay captured a 6-1, 6-2 decision against Clara Schumacher at No. 5. The doubles tandem of Mylene Martin and Camille Pamart posted a win at No. 1.

San Francisco returns to action when it hosts West Coast Conference rival Gonzaga Sunday, February 18 in its 2007 home opener. Match time against the Bulldogs is set for 11:00 AM at Golden Gate Park.
