USF Women's Tennis Drops Tough Decision at Cal Poly, 4-3

(San Luis Obispo, CA) - USF women's tennis put up a tremendous fight but could not overcome a talented Cal Poly squad and dropped a 4-3 decision Friday afternoon at Mustang Courts. The Dons won the doubles points and captured wins at No. 5 and No. 6 singles but could not secure a win in the top four spots.

Mylene Martin secured a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 5 singles against Maria Malec, while Sarah Oudomvilay won at No. 6 6-2, 6-3 over Amanda Varela.

USF continues its West Coast Spring Break trip Saturday at UC Santa Barbara.
