USF Women's Tennis Wins 4-2 at UC Santa Barbara

(Santa Barbara, CA) - Despite heavy rains which shortened the match, USF women's tennis posted an impressive 4-2 victory at UC Santa Barbara in its second match in as many days. The Dons bounced back nicely after dropping a tough 4-3 decision at Cal Poly on Friday in the first match of their annual Spring Break trip.

USF collected singles wins at Nos. 3-6. Megan Taylor posted a 7-6, 6-2 win at No. 3 against Charlotte Scatliffe, while Jenny Sperry posted a 6-1, 6-3 victory at No. 4 against Leslie Damion. Mylene Martin took a 6-3, 7-5 decision versus Mio Fukushima at No. 5, while Sarah Oudomvilay cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win against Kristen Wilson at No. 6.

San Francisco returns to action and concludes its Southern California road swing Sunday at Cal State Northridge.
