Pepperdine Defeats New Mexico, 5-2, Sunday Afternoon

Malibu, Calif. - The 26th-ranked Pepperdine women's tennis team won its second straight match, defeating No. 53 New Mexico, 5-2, Sunday afternoon at the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center in Malibu, California.

The Waves (10-7) swept all three doubles match to capture the doubles before winning four of six singles matches to post the victory.

Pepperdine is next in action on Wednesday when it hosts Princeton at the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center beginning at 1:30 p.m.
