Pepperdine's Anete Bandere rallied back from down a set to defeat Luba Schifris at the No. 4 position to clinch the Waves' fourth straight victory with a 4-3 decision over
Pepperdine had little trouble picking up the double's point, winning handily at all three positions.
Sacramento State tied the contest at 1-1 on court one when Sylvia Kosakowski was forced to retire in the second set after winning the first set 6-1. The Hornets took a 2-1 lead in the match after Joyce Martinez defeated Tania Rice 6-1, 6-1 on court five.
Eva Dickes evened the match at 2-2 with a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Aileen Tsan on court three. Katia Sabate put Pepperdine in front by defeating Anastassia Lyssenko 6-3, 7-5 on court two. Cecilia Helland picked up
