Mesterova Wins Again

Northridge, CA (April 16) -- Loyola Marymount junior Pavla Mesterova improved to 25-6 on the season with yet another win at No. 1 singles in their match against Cal State Northridge on Monday. The Lions ended up on the wrong end of the 6-1 decision as they finish the regular season at 10-11.

It was a tight match despite the final score as four of the six singles matches went three sets. Mesterova's match went to a third set tiebreaker as she won 6-4, 0-6, 7-6 (10-2).

The Lions will now prepare for the WCC Championships in Malibu on Friday through Sunday.
