SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga University women's tennis team will host West Coast Conference foe University of Portland Saturday afternoon at the Spokane Racquet Club. The match between the Bulldogs and the Pilots will start at 1 p.m.
Gonzaga, who is playing its first WCC match of the season, is looking to bounce back from a bumpy beginning to start the season. During the Bulldogs' only match this spring, Gonzaga fell to nationally ranked Washington State University, 7-0.
Portland will travel to Spokane looking to improve its 3-1 record. The Pilots are coming off a strong weekend posting dominating 7-0 wins over Willamette University and Linfield College. Prior to the match against Gonzaga, the Pilots will face Washington State Friday in Pullman.
After it's match-up against Portland, the Bulldogs' next action will be Feb. 11 when they travel to Lewiston, Idaho to face Albertson College and Lewis-Clark State College.
