Day Two of USD Invitational Postponed

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Day two of the USD Invitational has been postponed due to inclement weather.

Saturday's game schedule included a 9:00 a.m. match between the SMU Mustangs and the St. Mary's Gaels followed by a 1:30 p.m. match between the host Toreros and the USF Bulls. These games, which will be played at their originally scheduled times, have been rescheduled for Sunday March 12. The status of Sunday's original matches is still to be determined.

San Diego defeated SMU Friday by a score of 4-2 in a match determined by singles. Earlier in the day, USF took a 4-1 win over St. Mary's in a match that was also determined by singles.

San Diego is currently ranked 44th in the nation. Senior Emma Murphy stands at 47th in the nation in singles while Murphy and senior teammate Lauren Perl are ranked at No. 57 nationally in doubles.
