SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference announces its women’s tennis weekly honors for singles and doubles competition for March 19, 2014.
WOMEN’S TENNIS SINGLES PLAYER OF THE WEEK
DANIELLE FLORES, JR., SAINT MARY’S
Danielle Flores extended her winning streak to four matches with a 6-3, 6-1 win over San Diego's Marta Stojanovic and helped Saint Mary's begin defense of its 2013 WCC regular season championship by clinching the 4-0 win over the host Toreros. Flores has been one of Saint Mary's best players lately, winning matches against players from USC, Texas Tech and Tulane. She is a perfect 4-0 at the No. 2 spot for the Gaels this spring.

WOMEN’S TENNIS DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK
MORGAN ANDERSON-LITTLEWOOD/MEGHAN SHEEHAN-DIZON – BYU
The doubles pair of Morgan Anderson-Littlewood and Meghan Sheehan-Dizon helped BYU collect the doubles point in both matches last weekend. Against No. 50 Yale, the pair slipped past Amber Li and Annie Sullivan 8-7(4) in a Cougar loss. The next day the doubles team followed with another win as they beat Stephanie Vlad and Joanna Smith of No. 28 Arizona State, 8-6, in a narrow 4-3 BYU loss.
