SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego women's volleyball program presents its second annual Co-ed Six Man Fundraising Tournament. In showing the team's appreciation to its sponsors, the team would like to find a well for this tournament to benefit the businesses as well. Therefore, the volleyball program is incorporating a Corporate Division. Businesses can submit a team and use the tournament as a team building experience for their employees in a fun and healthy atmosphere.
The entry fee for the tournament is $40 per person, which includes the entry fee, one raffle ticket and unlimited food and drinks. This exciting event will take place on May 10, 2008 inside of the Jenny Craig Pavilion and is expected to begin at 9 a.m.
Each team must have at least six players, consisting of at least three girls on the court at all times. USD players will serve as referees, line judges and scorekeepers.
Throughout the day, teams can enjoy food and drinks, as well as buy additional raffle tickets and view all the raffle items in the Warren Hospitality suite located in the Jenny Craig Pavilion. Following the tournament, the winners of the raffle will be announced.
