2005-06 USF Women's Athletics Banquet Recap

USF Athletics celebrated the successes and accomplishments of the 2005-06 school year at the Annual Women's Sports Banquet held Sunday night in the Carnelian Room. Team MVP honors for each team were presented and university and athletic department awards were also bestowed.

Senior middle blocker KeLicia Shorts (volleyball) earned the 2006 Anne Dolan Award presented to the top USF Female Student-Athlete. A two-time tournament MVP and a 2005 West Coast Conference Honorable Mention selection, Shorts completed her four-year career as the all-time leader in attack percentage, ranked fifth in career blocks and closed her career leading the Dons to more victories during four-year span than any player in program history.

Senior Jenni Jones (basketball) earned the 2006 Charles Harney Award presented to the graduating senior with the highest GPA. A Biology Major, Jones was named to the 2006 All-West Coast Conference Academic Team.
