Volleyball Hires New Assistant

Moraga, Ca - The Saint Mary's volleyball program is happy to announce the hiring of Keegan Cook. Cook has followed the Saint Mary's volleyball program since 1999 when his sister Meg Herr became a member of the team and has been active member within the program since 2005 as a student assistant. Browning believes that Cook will play a crucial role in the Gaels success, stating, "I am pleased to announce that Keegan Cook will be hired as my second full-time assistant coach. He is hard-working and willing to do whatever it takes to help us get to the top of the WCC. I have always been proud to have Keegan associated with our team and I look forward to much success with him as a full-time member of our team. Cook's tasks will include coordinating travel, statistical gathering and analysis, and organization of summer camps.

Cook replaces Sydney Chute who leaves Saint Mary's to pursue a professional volleyball career overseas. Browning on Chute, "Sydney has been a huge asset to both myself and the team. She has worked unselfishly since she arrived and has dedicated herself to helping us achieve our goals. I have benefited greatly by working with Sydney and am grateful for all that I have learned from her."

Transaction: Sydney Chute resigns as assistant volleyball coach at Saint Mary's College. Keegan Cook hired as assistant volleyball coach at Saint Mary's College.
