USF Volleyball Launches Kids Club

Aug. 24, 2006

USF Volleyball Head Coach Jeff Nelson today announced the launch of the team's Quake Zone Kids Club for grades three through eight. Led by the USF coaching squad and Dons varsity team, the club offers valuable membership benefits.

"We are very excited about our Quake Zone Kids Club as it represents a unique opportunity for USF and our team members to give back to the community. Our summer camps and CYO clinics have proven to be very popular among people throughout the Bay Area and the Kids Club provides our team with an additional opportunity to meet our fans and mentor young, aspiring athletes both on the court and off."

In addition to free admission to all 10 regular season volleyball home games, a $50.00 value, member benefits include a Quake Zone VB clinic on Saturday, September 30 following USF's 1 pm volleyball match vs. WCC rival Santa Clara. The after-match event includes pizza and an ice cream social. Members also receive a volleyball T-shirt, an autographed photo of the team, and a 5% discount to one of USF's Volleyball summer 2007 camps, an estimated $15.00 value. Please note, according to NCAA rules, students entering ninth grade are not eligible for the 5% discount. Membership to the Quake Zone Kids Club is $25.00.
