San Francisco's Jocelyn Levig Named WCC Volleyball Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. --- The West Coast Conference has named its Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for September 3, 2012.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: JOCELYN LEVIG, SAN FRANCISCO, SR, OH
Senior outside hitter Jocelyn Levig recorded 43 kills and 3.58 kills per set over the weekend in the Hawaiian Airlines Classic. Levig helped lead San Francisco to its first ever win over No. 25 Cal with a 16-kill, 11-dig double-double on Saturday. With the win, Levig also helped Head Coach Gilad Doron become the all-time wins leader in program history.

Levig also made the All-Tournament team in the Hawaiian Airlines Classic, the only Don to receive that honor. She also tallied 24 digs, five assists and two service aces on the week.
