BYU's Alexa Gray Named WCC Volleyball Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference has named its Volleyball Player of the Week for October 13, 2014.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - ALEXA GRAY, JR., OH - BYU
Junior Alexa Gray led No. 10 BYU women's volleyball to a pair of four-set road victories last week. The wins keep BYU as the only undefeated team left in WCC play. To start the week off against Pacific, Gray had a season-high 20 kills while hitting a .419 clip to go along with three blocks. Then, against Saint Mary's, Gray matched that season-high 20 kills while still hitting above .400.

Gray ended the week with a team-high 40 kills, a .411 hitting percentage, three digs, five blocks (including two solo) and a pair of assists.
