Saint Mary's Jordan Shaw Named WCC Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. --- The West Coast Conference has named its Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for October 14, 2013.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: JORDAN SHAW, SAINT MARY'S, SENIOR, OUTSIDE HITTER
Senior Jordan Shaw led the Gaels to a home sweep of Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine, combining for 37 kills, 20 digs and a .326 hitting percentage in the two-match week. She had a team-high 20 kills in a tough five-set win over LMU, also adding three aces in the win. Against Pepperdine, she nearly equalled that kill total in two less sets, finishing with 17 kills. Shaw continues to be one of the leaders on a Saint Mary's team that is 6-1 to begin the WCC season.
