Loyola Marymount's Litara Keil Named WCC Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. --- The West Coast Conference has named its Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for October 28, 2013.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: LITARA KEIL, LOYOLA MARYMOUNT, JUNIOR, MIDDLE BLOCKER
Junior middle blocker Litara Keil guided the Lions to a 2-0 week in WCC play, including victories over Portland and Gonzaga. Keil hit .492 with 39 kills on 61 attacks with only nine errors over the two matches, averaging 5.57 kills per set. She turned in 22 kills on 33 attacks with only four errors (.545) on Thursday against Portland before collecting 17 more kills on 28 attacks (.429) on Saturday against Gonzaga. Keil also added a service ace and three block assists against Portland.
