SAN BRUNO, Calif. --- The West Coast Conference has announced its women's volleyball Player of the Week award-winner for November 7, 2011.
KIM HILL, PEPPERDINE, SENIOR, OPPOSITE SIDE HITTER
Kim Hill lifted Pepperdine to its 12th consecutive win of the season last Thursday, when the team shut out the visiting Santa Clara, 3-0. The senior totaled 18 kills on an errorless 28 attacks for a season-high .643 hitting percentage. Overall, the team hit a season-best .422 clip.
Hill, October's West Coast Conference Player of the Month, added six blocks, eight digs and an ace in her well-rounded effort versus the Broncos. With a 6.00 kills/set last week, which were earned for the opposite, middle, outside and back row positions on the court, the senior brings her season average to a team-best 3.76. Her career kill tally now stands at 1,166. With 40 more put aways, the senior would break into the top-10 in the Pepperdine record books. She currently sits in 11th place.
