Gametracker Avaliable for NCAA Tournament

The 17th-ranked University of San Diego women's volleyball team will compete in the NCAA Tournament this upcoming weekend in Knoxville, Tenn.

All of USD's matches will be available on Gametracker for those who wish to keep track o f the matches on their computer. Should USD defeat Jacksonville State University on Friday, and should the Lady Vols defeat Duke University, then Saturday's match will be available live via webstream on utladyvols.com. Only matches involving the UT volleyball team will have a live webstream.

The Toreros will open the NCAA Tournament with a 2 p.m. match against Jacksonville State University. The Gamecocks enter the the match with a 24-4 overall record, are riding a 19-match winning streak and are the 2006 Ohio Valley Conference champions. This will be the first ever meeting between the Toreros and Gamecocks in the sport of volleyball. The Gamecocks offense is led by Abbey Breit, who has a team-leading 5.40 kills per game average. Breit also averages 3.35 digs per game to place second on the team in the category. The floor leader for JSU is Emily Withers, who is averaging 13.87 assists per game in helping direct the Gamecocks offense to a team attacking percentage of .245. Jacksonville State in under the direction of fifth-year head coach Rick Nold. During his tenure in Jacksonville, Nold has posted a 101-46 overall record.
