Saint Mary's Jordan Shaw Named November Player of the Month

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has named its Volleyball Player of the Month for November 2013.

JORDAN SHAW, SAINT MARY'S, SR., OUTSIDE HITTER

Senior outside hitter Jordan Shaw closed the regular season with one of the best months of play ever turned in by a Saint Mary's volleyball player. In seven matches, she collected 104 kills and a tremendous 4.52 kills per set average. She set the Saint Mary's record for kills in a three-set match with 24 against UTEP, breaking a mark that stood for 10 years. She averaged 2.30 digs per set, finishing the month with 53, and hit at a fantastic clip of .376. Shaw also moved into eighth all-time in kills at Saint Mary's, closing the regular season of her senior year with perhaps the best, most consistent play of her career.
