Turner Named WCC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named its Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for October 27, 2015. 

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – MICHAEL TURNER, JR., MF – SAN DIEGO 
Junior midfielder Michael Turner helped the Toreros earn a 3-1 win at Lipscomb Saturday evening, moving USD's winning streak to four matches. Turner scored the first goal of the match on a Torrey DeArmas assist. After receiving a pass from the right wing, Turner fired a rocket shot into the left side of the goal. Turner now has 11 points on the season with three goals and a team-high five assists. The Toreros have scored three goals in each of their past four matches.
