WCC, TheW.tv Debuts Twitter Live Sunday

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference, TheW.tv and Campus Insiders will launch its partnership with Twitter Live, which will provide Twitter users with the ability to stream select TheW.tv contests directly from the popular social media platform. Broadcasts can be accessed by following the official handle of the WCC - @WCCsports. 

WCC fans following the action can join the conversation in real time by using the #WCCsports hashtag. 

San Jose State at Portland men’s soccer will be the first TheW.tv broadcast to air on Twitter Live and is set for a 2:00 p.m. (PDT) kick off Sunday, Sept. 4 at Merlo Field in Portland. A total of nine men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball matches airing live on TheW.tv will be carried via Twitter during the month of September. The full schedule runs below.

Additional content, including West Coast Conference basketball, baseball and softball will be announced throughout the course of the 2016-17 academic year.
