WCC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)
To enhance the student-athlete experience.
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) of the West Coast Conference (WCC) is charged with advocating for student-athlete well-being, encouraging positive sportsmanship and participating in community outreach efforts; all of which are accomplished by demonstrating leadership on campus, facilitating communication within the Conference, and engaging in National SAAC initiatives and issues.
The WCC SAAC Strategic Plan focuses on the two initiatives reflective of the student-athletes’ and Conferences’ values, including 1) REPRESENT: which supports the community service opportunities and promotion of positive sportsmanship, and 2) student-athlete wellbeing: supports personal growth (mind, body, and spirit) and leadership development of student-athletes. Annually the WCC SAAC create goals based on these principles.
