Meador helped lead USD to a 3-1 record this past weekend as he went 8-for-14 with two doubles, one home run and a team-leading six RBI. In Saturday's game two of the double-header, Meador went 4-for-5 with one double, one home run, two single and fell just a triple short of hitting for the cycle. Meador is also boasting a .600 on base percentage, and slugging at a .929 clip. |

In three games, Yarrow batted .600 (6-10) with a double and two home runs. He added four RBI, three runs scored, three walks, and a 1.300 slugging percentage in helping the Dons win the series against Cal Poly.

Johnson batted .400 (6-for-15) with two runs scored, a double, three triples, a walk and two stolen bases over the week. He slugged .867 and reached base at a .471 clip. Johnson recorded a triple in three of LMU's four games last week. With the three triples, Johnson currently has 10 in his career (seven last year), placing tied for seventh in LMU's all-time record books.

The preseason All-America honoree and reigning WCC co-batting champ, Klein had 12 hits and eight RBI last week and was named to the all-tournament team at the Jack Gifford Memorial Tournament in Silicon Valley.
Klein, who played both catcher and designated hitter, led Santa Clara to a pair of wins, going 12-for-21 (.571 BA) on the week with two homers and two doubles. His slugging percentage was .952 - he had 27 plate appearances and did not strikeout.
His clutch ninth-inning double Saturday, led to the tying run in SCU's comeback victory over Air Force, 8-7, in extra innings. On Sunday, Klein hit a two-run homer (his second in as many days) and added a ninth-inning hit in SCU's 12-11 win over Southern Illinois. He raised his season batting average to .356. Klein has 15 RBI in 14 games.
Against two-time WAC Champion Utah State, Samhan led all players with 22 points and 17 rebounds, as Saint Mary's snapped the nation's second longest home winning streak (37 games) with a 68-63 win over the Aggies. Samhan was 10-for-18 from the floor, added two assists and one blocked shot. |

MATT KOCH, LMU |
Koch batted .389 (7-for-18) with five runs scored, two doubles, three home runs, two walks, a hit-by-pitch and four RBI to lead LMU to the 4-1 week. He recorded 18 total bases, slugged 1.000 and reached base at a .455 clip. In addition, he hit safely in each of the five games last week, including recording a home run in three of the four games against Fresno State over the weekend. He has now hit safely in eight straight games, including belting five home runs over the span.
LMU began the week by defeating Long Beach State, 6-4 on Tuesday. The Lions then took the first three games of a four-game series against Fresno State in Fresno, Calif. LMU defeated the bulldogs, 12-5, in game one before taking both ends of a doubleheader on Saturday in extra-innings. The Lions earned a 4-3 victory in 10 innings in game one before taking game two by a count of 5-2 in eight innings (game was scheduled for seven). Koch belted what proved to be the game-winning home run in game one of the doubleheader on Saturday, sending a pitch over the wall in left centerfield in the top of the 10th inning to break a 3-3 tie. |

Solis tossed a gem in Friday's win over San Diego State. Solis (2-0) turned in his most impressive performance this season, as he allowed no runs on four hits, while striking out six batters in 6.0 innings of work. Solis struck out four of the first eight batters he faced to really set the tone for the game. Solis has now moved his season ERA to 0.82 |

Lally was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Dairy Queen Classic for his seven shutout innings and career-high tying five strikeouts in a two-hit shutout victory over Oklahoma State to help LMU to the 2010 Dairy Queen Classic Championship on Sunday. The left-hander faced 25 total batters, four over the minimum, allowing just two hits and two walks. The shutout was the first for LMU since shutting out Santa Clara 2-0 on the road on March 27, 2009. The combined two-hitter was the first for LMU since Daniel Macias allowed just two hits in a 5-0 victory over Gonzaga on April 30, 2006.

This marks the second time in three weeks, that Solis has taken home this honor. Solis turned in his most dominant performance of the season in Friday's win over UAB, as he allowed two unearned runs on three hits, while striking out seven in 7.0 innings of work. This was Solis' longest outing of the young season, and he is now 3-1 with a 2.01 ERA and is third on the team in strikeouts with 22. |

Hauser, a 6-2 senior from Newport Beach, Calif., picked up both a win and a save against No. 14 Rice this past week, as he allowed no runs on one hit in 3.1 innings of work. In Friday's win over Rice, Hauser picked up his third save of the season. Rice was threatening in the top of the eighth inning as they loaded the bases with two outs. Hauser got the first batter he faced to ground out, getting USD out of the jam. Hauser then mowed down the Rice batters in order in the ninth inning getting the first two batters to strikeout and the final batter to fly out to centerfield, en route to picking up his third save of the season. Then on Saturday, Hauser picked up his first win of the season, as he allowed no runs on one hit in 2.0 innings of work. |

Freshman Aaron Griffin was outstanding on the hill for LMU against Cal State Fullerton on Tuesday. The right-hander tossed his first career complete game as LMU defeated the Titans, 4-2. Griffin had a shutout headed into the ninth inning when Fullerton posted two runs in the frame. Griffin, a native of El Cajon, Calif., used 119 pitches (73 strikes) to record the complete game and improve to 2-1 on the year. He faced 34 hitters and retired 15 of 16 batters from the second through the seventh, including 10 straight from the fourth into the seventh. Griffin allowed seven hits, a walk and two runs while striking out five. The two runs and three of the seven hits came in the ninth inning. The complete game was the first for the Lions since Lee Roberts tossed nine against Gonzaga on May 15, 2009. Bywater delivered his second complete-game shutout victory of 2010 Saturday, striking out eight Stony Brook batters in a 3-0 Pepperdine victory at Eddy D. Field Stadium. Bywater tossed 100 pitches, scattered six hits but did not walk or hit a batter. Bywater cruised through the Stony Brook lineup until there were two outs in the ninth inning. But with runners on second and third, Bywater got cleanup hitter Robert Dyer to hit a soft chopper to the shortstop for the game's final out. Bywater started the game by striking out the side in the first and then faced the minimum 18 batters up through the seventh. He allowed two baserunners during this stretch but caught Trevor Jankowski stealing in the third, and induced a 3-6-3 double play ball off Dyer in the fourth. Bywater's defense spun another double play behind him in the eighth with two on and one out, raising his season GIDP total to eight. |

In the win against Hawaii, RHP Cody Martin struck out 10 batters in just six innings, allowing just three hits and zero earned runs on his way to being named WCC Rawlings Pitcher of the Week. He has now gone at least six innings in six of his seven starts this season and leads the WCC with 56 strikeouts in 42.2 innings pitched. |

Allen made the most of his first start at SMC, as he narrowly missed a triple double. Allen, a 6-11 forward, had career-highs with 17 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists against New Mexico State, for his first career double-double....he helped the Gaels post a 100-68 win over New Mexico State to open the year, while shooting 5-for-6 from the field (1-1 from 3-point land) and 6-for-6 from the free throw line...he also added a game-high three steals and had one blocked shot. Jackson led the Toreros to a 77-64 season-opening home victory over the Stanford Cardinal of Pac-10. Jackson's 18 points matched running mate Brandon Johnson's total, but he also chipped in with 3 assists, 3 steals and 2 rebounds. Jackson converted 8-of-13 shots from the field (.615), 1-of-2 treys (.500) and 1-of-2 free throws. The win over Stanford was USD's second in five tries - the previous win came way back in December of 1980, a 79-70 overtime win at Stanford. |

Campbell led Portland to home wins over Seattle (98-81) and Oregon (88-81). He averaged 18.5 points and 8.0 assists per game and shot 71 percent from the field (10-of-14). Samhan posted back-to-back double-doubles against San Diego State and Vanderbilt. He averaged 21.0 points, 17.5 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game and shot 17-of-35 (48.6 percent) from the field. |

Gray had 13 points, grabbed seven boards and had four assists to help lead his team to the Maui Invitational title, beating Colorado, Wisconsin, and Cincinnati. For the tournament Gray averaged a team-leading 18.3 ppg and 5.3 rpg, and 2.3 three-pointers (47%).
Campbell led Portland to a second place finish at the 76 Classic, including wins over UCLA (74-47) and then-No. 16 Minnesota (61-56) before falling to No. 8 West Virginia (84-66). Campbell was named to the All-Tournament Team after averaging 16.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.

Bouldin posted a career-high 28 points versus Washington State to help fuel a second-half comeback. He hit seven 3-pointers against WSU for a career-high and also hit two against Wake Forest. On the week, Bouldin averaged 25.0 points, 4.5 threes, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game for the week, while shooting 51.9 percent. Samhan averaged 17.0 points and 15.0 rebounds to help SMC post a 2-0 record with road wins at San Jose State (W, 78-71) and Utah State (W, 68-63). Samhan averaged 34.5 minutes, 2.0 blocks, 1.5 assists, and shot .500 (15-30) from the floor for the week. with the Gaels trailing 45-33 at halftime, Samhan sparked the SMC come back by scoring 10 points, grabbing nine rebounds, and added two blocks in the second half against the Spartans, helping the Gaels comeback from 15 points down in the final 20 minutes.

Teel scored 24 points, while adding 11 rebounds, six assists, just two turnovers and a steal to lead LMU to an 87-85 win at Notre Dame on Saturday. It was the first non-conference home loss for the Irish since 2005 and LMU's first win over a current member of the Big East since 1988. Teel went 10-for-17 (.588) from the field to record his second career double-double, the first on the season. For the week, Teel averaged 15.0 points, 6.5 assists, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals while shooting 13-for-23 from the field (.565). Dellavedova scored a career/season high 21 points, while playing all 40 minutes in an 81-76 win at Oregon on Saturday, and scored 14 points in the second half after SMC trailed 34-33 at halftime. With SMC leading 68-67 with 3:22 left to play, Dellavedova came up big for the Gaels in the final three minutes, scoring nine of the Gaels' final 13 points. After Oregon cut SMC's second half lead to one, Dellavedova hit his third 3-pointer of the game on SMC's next possession to give the Gaels a 4-point advantage with 2:55 remaining. He was 6-for-6 from the free throw line, to improve to 21-of-21 from the free throw line this season and also added a game-high four assists and had one steal. |

Samhan earned his WCC Player of the Week honors for the third time this season after averaging 29.5 points, 12.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocked shots in home wins over Portland State and Pacific. Samhan had 31 points, including 15-of-23 shooting, and 17 rebounds in 32 minutes against Portland State and 28 points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots in 36 minutes vs. Pacific. Samhan finished the week shooting an impressive 60.4 (26-of-43) percent from the field, and is now shooting 60.3 (80-of-146) percent from the floor this season. |

Stohl broke his own school record by making 10 three-pointers in Portland's 82-52 win over Idaho on Tuesday. The Marysville, Wash. native finished 10-for-15 from three-point range for 30 points. He also grabbed a career-high six rebounds and matched his career-high of three steals. Stohl previously made nine three-pointers last year versus San Francisco. He became the first college basketball player in the last decade to score 30 points without making a free throw or two-point field goal. |

Harris capped a 3-game week by collecting second double-double of the season with 19 points and 16 rebounds and hit game-winning shot with :12 to go in overtime as Gonzaga downed Illinois 85-83 at the United Center in Chicago...went 7-for-11 from field, 1-for-2 from 3-point range against Illini...began week with 22 points 22 points in 27 minutes against Eastern Washington University, going 9-for-11 from the field, hitting his only trey and grabbing 7 rebounds...against Oklahoma in final collegiate men's basketball game of the decade in the country scored 15 points and grabbed 9 boards in win over Oklahoma, going 5-for-6 from the field and 3-for-4 from 3-point range...for week scored 56 points for 18.7 ppg, grabbed 24 rebounds for 10.7 rpg, went 21-for-28 from the field for 75.0 percent, 5-for-7 from 3-point range for 71.4 percent, 9-for-14 from the line for 64.3 percent, had 4 assists, 2 blocks and 4 steals. Teel led the Lions to another perfect week, going 2-0 with wins against Seattle and Cal State Bakersfield, extending the Lions' win streak to six games. Teel averaged 20.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 9.5 assists and 4.0 steals in the wins. He led the Lions to their first 100-point game since 1998 with 24 points, eight rebounds, 10 assists and four steals in the 104-89 win over Seattle on Wednesday at Gersten Pavilion. Then on Sunday at Bakersfield, he went for 17 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and four steals in the 81-73 win over the Roadrunners. He finished the week hitting 11-for-25 from the field (44 percent) and 19-for-27 (70 percent) from the charity stripe. The wins extended the Lions streak to its longest since 1995-96 and moved their road winning streak to three games, the longest since the beginning of that same season. |

Bouldin scored 20 points, had a season-high nine assists and did not commit a turnover while playing all 40 minutes in 71-68 win at Portland. He went 10-11 from the line, including hitting six free throws in the final 32 seconds to help Gonzaga hold off the Pilots and scored final eight Gonzaga points of the first half - including back-to-back threes - as Gonzaga opened 42-36 halftime lead. Thompson scored a game-high 22 points and had one of the best three-point performances in school history to lead the Waves to a 79-75 victory in the 150th meeting with Loyola Marymount. He made a career-high six three-pointers on seven attempts (the school record for percentage is 1.000 at 6-for-6). He also pulled down a game-high-tying eight rebounds while adding three assists and three blocks. During the night, he moved into Pepperdine's career top 10 in three-pointers made (he now has 115). He scored 16 of his 22 points in the second half as Pepperdine rallied from a 38-25 halftime deficit. |

Harris averaged 25.5 ppg, 11.0 rpg, shot 63.6 percent from the field (13-20) and had 4 blocks as Gonzaga went on road and defeated Saint Mary's and San Diego to open WCC play 3-0 with three straight road victories...scored season-high 31 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for third double-double of year in 89-82 win at Saint Mary's, then came back with 20 points and 9 rebound at USD. The 31 points was first Gonzaga 30-point game since Adam Morrison scored 35 in 2006 NCAA Tournament first-round game against Xavier...went 13-for-20 from field against the Gaels, 8-for-13 at USD. Jackson averaged 18.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists as Pepperdine defeated both Santa Clara and San Francisco and improved to 3-0 in the WCC for the first time since 2002 (the last time Pepperdine won part of the WCC title). He was Pepperdine's high scorer in both games. He had a career-high 21 points, tied his career high with six rebounds and had three assists in the win against San Francisco. Two days earlier, he led Pepperdine with 15 points and five assists in a one-point win over Santa Clara. He also made a key defensive play at the end by stripping the Broncos' ball-handler as time expired. Over the two games, Jackson shot 60% from the field (9-for-15), 60% on three-pointers (6-for-10) and 92% on free throws (12-for-13). He played 71 of a possible 80 minutes. For the season, Jackson is averaging 8.9 points, 2.9 assists and 2.8 rebounds. |

Gonzaga's Matt Bouldin was named the WCC Player of the Week after leading the Zags to wins over Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount. Bouldin started the week by scoring a career-high 32 points against Pepperdine, going 10-for-16 from the field, including 3-for-5 from 3-point range, and 9-for-10 from the free throw line. The Highlands Ranch, CO native came back with 19 points and 6 rebounds against Loyola Marymount, going 6-for-12 from the field, 3-for-7 from 3 and 4-for-4 from the line. For his efforts, Bouldin was named the ESPN.com National Player of the Week. |

Lowhorn powered USF to a thrilling overtime victory against No. 13/8 Gonzaga with a game-high 22 points - 17 coming after halftime. After a 2-for-6 start, the San Franciscan connected on his 6-of-12, including a four 3-pointers - two coming in the overtime session. The preseason All-American nailed a clutch 3-pointer to force overtime against Gonzaga and sealed it with two from deep in bonus basketball.
It was the 47th 20-plus point night of Lowhorn's distinguished career and the 11th of 2009-10. For the weekend, Lowhorn averaged 17 points on .480 (12-25) from the field to go along with nine rebounds per game.
Lowhorn became the eighth player to surpass 1,600 career points in the Green and Gold, finishing with 1,608. Lowhorn ranks eighth on the all-time scoring list 29 points from passing Naismith Hall-of-Famer Bill Russell (1953-56), who finished with 1,636. |

Campbell averaged 21.0 points, 5.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game in home wins over San Diego and Saint Mary's. He scored a team-high 24 points with seven assists and three steals in a thrilling 80-75 win over Saint Mary's on Saturday. The senior point guard scored the game-tying layup with 25 seconds left in regulation to send it to overtime and then clinched the game with two free throws with eight seconds remaining in OT. He was 9-for-16 from the field, 2-for-6 from the three-point line and 4-for-4 at the foul line. Campbell scored a game-high 18 points with four assists in a 70-56 win over San Diego on Thursday. He went 5-for-10 from the three-point line in the game. |

Junior Vernon Teel led LMU to a pair of wins against two of the top teams in the WCC standings, including a 74-66 win over No. 13/9 Gonzaga on Thursday and a 77-68 overtime win over Portland. Teel averaged 16 points, 4.5 assists and 7.0 rebounds in the wins. In addition, the entered the weekend a 65 percent free throw shooter, but in the two wins he went 14-for-18 from the charity stripe (77.8 percent) Against Portland, he went for 24 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and four steals; scoring eight of the Lions' 15 points in overtime. He played 42 of the 45 minutes, and finished 10-for-12 from the free throw line, 6-for-9 from the field, including hitting both of his three pointers. In the Lions' first win over a ranked opponent at Gersten Pavilion and first in 20 years, Teel delivered the assist with no time on the shot clock and up only four on the Zags with less than 30 seconds left in the contest. He finished with five assists against the Zags. |

Saint Mary's senior Omar Samhan averaged 26.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game in wins over Pepperdine and Loyola
Marymount, while shooting .657 percent (23-35) from the floor. He tied his career-high with 33 points against LMU on Saturday, helping SMC secure sole possession of second place in the WCC standings. Omar's 33 points gives his 623 points this season, breaking the SMC single season scoring record and moved into second all-time in scoring at SMC. In the win over Pepperdine, he had three blocks, to move into third all-time in the WCC with 240 blocks, while passing Diamon Simpson as the school's career blocked shot record holder. |

Vandersloot was one assist shy of a triple-double in the Zags heartbreaking overtime loss at South Dakota State University. Vandersloot finished with a team-high 20 points, a career and game-high 11 steals, and a game-high nine assists. South Dakota State has not lost at home since December 2006.

Bowman started the week off scoring a game-high 22 points, including 16 in the second half, by hitting 8-of-12 from the field and 6-of-7 at the free throw line and added eight rebounds and two steals in the Zags win over visiting Eastern Washington University. Bowman then poured in a game-high 24 points, 15 in the first half, in GU's victory at Montana State University. She hit 7-of-10 from the floor, and 10-of-11 at the free throw line. The Gonzaga's final game of the week, she scored a team-high 13 points, on 4-of-6 accuracy from the floor, and 5-of-6 at the free throw line. She also had eight rebounds, two blocks, two assists and one steal in 23 minutes of action. Smith led the Gaels in scoring in the wins over Washington State (80-70) and Idaho (74-67) over the weekend. In the game against Washington State, Smith was a perfect 6-for-6 from 3-point land and 2-for-2 from the charity strip, finishing with a game-high 24 points. Against Idaho, Smith had a team-high 16 points, knocking down 4-of-6 3-pointers. On the weekend, SMC went 2-0 while on the road, marking the first time the Gaels have won consecutive non-conference road games under Paul Thomas' reign. On Friday night at Idaho, she hit four of seven from the field, four of six from the three-point line and went 8-for-8 at the charity stripe to help coach Jim Sollars record his 500th career win, a 67-56 victory against the Vandals; she also grabbed a team-high nine rebounds and handed out four assists during the win, while scoring at least 20 points for the third time in four games. On Sunday, she played all 40 minutes, grabbed eight more rebounds, dished six assists and hit two of three three-pointers en route to 14 points as the Pilots defeated the Cougars 79-53 for their fourth straight win and seventh out of their last eight games; it's her fifth straight game scoring in double figures She currently ranks third in the WCC in scoring (15.6 ppg) and is second in assists (4.9 apg). Tomlinson was one rebound shy of her fourth triple-double this season, settling for her third double-double after recording 17 points, 15 blocks, and nine rebounds in the 83-72 win over Boise State on Saturday. Young posted an LMU season-high 26 points to lead the Lions to an 80-63 win over Cal Poly on Saturday. Young carried the Lions at the beginning, scoring 11 of the team's first 13 points and finished with her second 20-plus scoring game of the season and 10th of her career. Her 26 points were the most by a Lion since December 6, 2008 and it was Young's largest output since her career-high 31 in triple overtime against Arizona on November 15 of last season. Young connected on five of her first six shots from the floor, then closed it out with a steady 11-of-12 from the free throw line to pass Jamie Jesko (1989-93) and move into sixth place on LMU's career free throws made list with 258. Dominique Conners was named the MVP of the Tournament after pacing the Toreros with a 19.5 ppg average, while hitting on 50% of her shots (15-for-30), had six steals, one block anf averages 5.5 rebounds per game. Conners scored 19 points in the first round win over Nevada, then followed that up with a game-high 20 points in the win over Boston College in the championship game. In the championship game, Conners was the fuel for the Toreros fire, as she attacked the basket all game, and was sent to the free-throw line several times. Conners was 4-for-6 (.667)from beyond the arc for the week. On the season, Conners pases USD's offense with her 13.9 ppg average. Conners has now scored in double figures in four of the last five games. |

Tomlinson led the Gaels to a 2-0 start in West Coast Conference action, with wins over San Francisco (76-64) and Santa Clara (83-55) to improve to 11-6 overall. In the game versus USF, Tomlinson scored a career-high 35 points and posted her ninth double-double of the season (12 rebounds) and was just two blocks shy of her fourth triple-double. Of her 35 points, she was 19-for-20 from the charity stripe, tying an SMC and WCC single game record in free throws made. Against Santa Clara, Tomlinson recorded her third straight double-double, finishing with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Bowman became the new all-time leading scorer in West Coast Conference history, surpassing Martha Sheldon, of the University of Portland's mark of 1,953 scored from 1987-92. Bowman has now scored 1,956 points. Bowman went into GU's contest against San Diego needing 19 points to top Sheldon and finished with 21 to increase her WCC leading total to 1,956 career points. Bowman claimed the title at the 9:49 mark of the second half when she received a pass from sophomore Katelan Redmon and scored a fast break layup. One minute later she added to her total with her final bucket of the game. Ayim averaged 23.5 points, 10.0 rebounds and 4.0 blocks as Pepperdine won twice on the road at Santa Clara and San Francisco. She has helped Pepperdine to a 3-0 league start, its best in the WCC since 2003 (the last time Pepperdine won a regular-season title). The Waves have also won seven of their last eight games. Ayim scored a career-high 29 points and pulled down 11 rebounds at Santa Clara for her fourth double-double of the season. She made 14 of 24 shots and connected on her only three-point attempt. Then, she just missed another double-double with a game-high 18 points and a team-high nine rebounds at San Francisco. She also had six blocks at USF, her third time this season with at least six blocks. That moved her up to #3 on Pepperdine career blocked shot list (134). Over the two games, she hit 58% of her shots from the field (23-for-40). She scored nearly a third of Pepperdine's points over the weekend (47/150). For the season, she is averaging 15.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.2 blocks. |

Vandersloot helped Gonzaga stay undefeated in conference with two road wins. Vandersloot averaged a double-double of 18.0 points and 10.0 assists, and shot 61.9 percent from the field over the Zags two contests. Vandersloot began the week scoring 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field and 4-of-6 accuracy from the charity stripe in GU's win over second place Saint Mary's. She also dished out 11 assists to register her ninth double-double of the season and blocked a career-high four shots. In the Zags victory over fourth place San Diego, Vandersloot scored another 18 points, this time on 6-of-11 shooting from the field, hitting 2-of-4 from beyond the 3-point arc, and was again 4-of-6 at the free throw line. She added nine assists, five steals and six rebounds in the 75-61 victory. Vandersloot also became the West Coast Conference all-time career assist leader in GU's win over San Diego. Vandersloot needed six assists to take over the top spot that was held by Amanda Rego (659), of San Diego. Vandersloot finished with nine and now has dished out 663. On Thursday night, Tomlinson broke the NCAA Division I career (480) and single-season (164) blocks records after recording five blocks against Gonzaga. Tomlinson added three more against Portland to put her career total at 486 and her single-season total at 169. Tomlinson averaged 14.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 4.0 blocks over the weekend and remains the conference leader in those categories. Tomlinson was one rebound shy of a double-double against Gonzaga, finishing with 14 points and nine rebounds, but she bounced back against Portland to finish with 15 points and 14 boards for her 17th double-double of the season.

Vandersloot pushed the Bulldogs winning streak to 14 games with two home victories last week. With the two wins Gonzaga also closed out the year a perfect 15-0 at home. The point guard averaged 20.0 points, 8.5 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals per contest and shot an impressive 61.9 percent (13-21) from the field and 90.9 percent (10-11) at the charity stripe. Vandersloot began the week hitting 6-of-13 from the field, including 2-of-7 from beyond the 3-point arc, and a perfect 3-of-3 at the charity stripe to finish with a game-high 17 points in GU's win over Loyola Marymount. She also had eight assists, six rebounds, two blocks and two steals. In the Zags victory over Pepperdine, which helped Gonzaga clinch at least a share of its sixth-straight West Coast Conference regular season title, Vandersloot hit 7-of-8 from the floor, including 2-of-3 on 3-pointers, and sank 7-of-8 free throws to finish with another game-high of 23 points. She also contributed nine assists, four rebounds and nine steals.

In the win over LMU, Conners scored a game-high 28 points on 11-for-18 shooting from the floor and she recorded seven steals.

Fiers (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif./Peninsula HS) was named Tournament MVP of the Colorado State Asics Classic, leading Pepperdine (3-0) to a season-opening three wins over then-#24 Colorado State (ending the Rams' 28-match home winning streak), Cal Poly and Oregon State. Fiers averaged 10.30 assists, 2.40 digs, 0.80 kills, 0.50 blocks and 0.20 service aces in 10 sets. Most impressive was how Fiers got her entire offense involved, as in a balanced attack she had five teammates average between 3.4 and 1.5 kills. Fiers had a double-double against Colorado State with 30 assists and 12 digs. She had 28 assists against Cal Poly and 45 assists and eight digs vs. Oregon State.

Carroll led the Dons to a 3-0 record and the tournament championship at the 2009 Hornet Invitational. The Dons posted sweeps against tournament host Sacramento State, Fresno State and fought back for a 3-2 triumph against Alabama.
Carroll played a key role for the Dons and set the program digs record in the process. The senior blew past previous record holder Brynn Maurer (2004-07) with 24 against Sacramento State and captured tournament MVP honors, averaging an impressive 5.73 digs per set (63 total) to go along with 0.55 aces. With 20 regular season matches remaining in her final season in the Green and Gold, Carroll has accumulated 1,752 digs. Carroll recorded 25 digs to go along with five assists and three aces against the Crimson Tide.

Jaeckel was instrumental in the Gaels two wins over Bay Area rivals Santa Clara and San Francisco last week. For the week, Jaeckel notched 28 kills, on 57 attempts, for an astounding .421 attack percentage. She averaged 3.50 kills per game, while notching 11 total blocks, six digs, and an assist. It is the first time in her career that she has been named the WCC Player of the Week. Ellick paced the Toreros to a pair of WCC wins over San Francisco and Santa Clara this past week, as she recorded 33 kills, hit for a .482 clip and had 7 blocks. She also recorded a career-high 20 kills, while hitting at a 0.515 clip in the win over USF. She then followed that up with 13 kills in the win over SCU, including hitting for a .435 clip in that match. On the season, Ellick has 170 kills, is hitting at a .363 clip and leads the team with 40 blocks. |

On the season, Myers is averaging 12.07 assists per set, which is good for fourth best in the nation. Myers leads the WCC with 736 assists ands has helped direct the Toreros to a team attack percentage of .265, tied for the best in the WCC. |

Davigeadono was a force for the Broncos, leading Santa Clara to a road sweep of Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine. She turned in a monster game against LMU, pounding down a match-high 20 kills on a match-best .621 hitting percentage. The senior from Sonora, Calif. followed that up with a team-high 18 kills on a .429 attack percentage in the Broncos' win over the Waves. Overall, she leads the team with 215 kills this season, averaging 2.83 kpg and hitting .301. She is tied with the team lead at .89 bpg. In WCC play she also leads the team in kills with 103 and with .90 bpg. |

Lowell had a big week helping the Gaels go 2-0 and improving to 16-4 and 8-1 in conference play. For the week Lowell notched 25 kills, on 56 attempts for an impressive .411 hitting percentage. She averaged 3.12 kills per set, while also recording two aces, three digs, and 12 total blocks. In the five set win over Pepperdine on Saturday, Lowell notched 17 kills on 34 attempts for a .500 hitting percentage, she also recorded six total blocks and helped the Gaels sweep the season series against the Waves for only the second time in program history. |

Bergsma collected 60 kills over the two matches played, averaging 7.50 kills per set and hitting .368 with only 17 errors in 117 attacks. Not only a threat on the attack, she also served-up three aces, posted one block solo, a block assist, 29 digs and five assists. The 6'3 outside hitter collected a double-double in both matches last week, running her total to 10 double-doubles on the season to match teammate Alesha Young for most in the West Coast Conference. She also totaled 64.5 points (8.06 per set) over the eight sets played, while averaging .38 aces per set and 3.62 digs per set. Carroll helped lead the Dons to a 1-1 weekend, including a three-set sweep of No. 22 Toreros. Carroll recorded 33 digs on the weekend. Saturday, with her 16th dig, Carroll recorded her 2,000th career dig. With the feat, Carroll became the first player in WCC history and the 45th player in NCAA Division I history to accomplish the feat. Carroll also recorded a service ace and two assists on the weekend. |

Enyeart recorded her first career hat trick in Friday's 4-1 win over No. 11 Illinois and then scored the game-winner in Sunday's 2-0 win against Miami. Enyeart also moved into fifth place on UP's career points list (111) and seventh on the school's career goals scored list (40).
Jordan Angeli scored the game winner in Santa Clara's huge upset victory over #5 Notre Dame. Notre Dame commited a foul about 40 yards out from the goal, and was preparing for a flighted service from senior Kiki Bosio. Bosio instead passed to Angeli, who unleased a 35-yard rocket that streaked by Irish goalkeeper Nikki Weiss into the upper portion of the net. Angeli was voted MVP of the Santa Clara Classic.

Santa Clara senior Kiki Bosio was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week for her play this past weekend at the Stanford/Nike Classic. Gallaudet playED a part in three of LMU's four goals on the week as the Lions posted a 2-0 record with a pair of shutouts. Against Long Beach State, it was Gallaudet who was fouled just outside the penalty area, leading to Kelsey Wilson's free-kick goal in a 1-0 Lion win. Gallaudet played a more active role in the defeat of Cal State Bakersfield, scoring once and assisting on another. Gallaudet opened the scoring just 45 seconds into the contest with her second goal of the season. Later, she helped cap three LMU goals in the opening 25 minutes by serving a cross for Kelley Lawson's header. Foxhoven earned her second WCC Player of the Week honor for her performance in leading the Pilots to wins over Montana and Washington State. Foxhoven had five goals in Portland's two wins this weekend. She recorded her second hat trick of the year in a 7-0 shutout of Montana, and then scored both goals in a 2-1 victory over Washington State. Foxhoven leads Portland with 11 goals this season.

Foxhoven set a career-high with four goals and an assist in Portland's 7-0 victory over Gonzaga on Saturday. She became the 13th player in school history to score four goals in a game and also just the sixth player in UP history to record at least two hat tricks in the same season. Foxhoven has nine goals in the last three games and leads the team with 15 goals on the season.

Enyeart scored three goals and had three assists as Portland defeated Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount 6-0 and 4-0, respectively. In Friday's win at Pepperdine, Enyeart scored the first two goals of the match. She then added the game-winner and assisted on the final three goals against LMU on Sunday. Enyeart picks up her second WCC Player of the Week award this year (Sept. 14) and third of her career.

Foxhoven scored six goals and added two assists in a pair of conference home wins over Saint Mary's (5-1) and San Francisco (8-0). On Sunday against USF, the sophomore forward scored four goals with an assist to become the first player in UP history to score four goals twice in the same season. She also notched four goals during a 7-0 win against Gonzaga on Oct. 11 and now has three hat tricks on the year. Against Saint Mary's, Foxhoven notched the game-winner and added a PK and an assist. With 21 goals this year, she is one shy of cracking the UP single-season top 10 list.

Enyeart scored the game-winner in a 1-0 road victory at No. 14 Santa Clara on Sunday. Enyeart scored on her only shot attempt of the match in the fourth minute as Portland earned its first victory at Santa Clara since 1997. Enyeart has 13 goals and 12 assists this season.

Chandhoke scored the game-winning goal and assisted on Portland's second score in a 2-0 win over San Diego on Sunday. The victory clinched the third consecutive 7-0-0 WCC season for the Pilots and marked the 11th league championship. Chandhoke now has seven goals and four assists on the season.

In the Dons' season opener, All-American forward Conor Chinn scored a goal and added an assist in a 4-1 rout of 2008 NCAA Tournament participant UMKC and provided the game-winner at New Mexico in the closing minutes in Albuquerque on Sunday. It was the 10th career game-winner for Chinn, who has now scored 19 goals in his last 19 matches.

Making his first career start, redshirt freshman Young shutout #6 UC Santa Barbara for over 86 minutes in helping LMU to a 2-1 upset win away to the Gauchos on Sunday. Young made eight saves, including five in a second half in which LMU was out-shot 11-2, to preserve the victory after the Lions had taken a 2-0 halftime lead.

Junior forward Rafael Baca scored two goals to help lead the #20 Lions to a 3-2 victory over #5 Dartmouth at the San Diego Nike Classic. The award is Baca's first of his career while he is the second straight Lion to take home the honor, following up redshirt freshman Max Young's recognition last week. A Hermann Trophy candidate for the nation's best player, Baca leads the team and the conference with five goals and ten points in six games. Thanks in part to Baca's efforts, LMU (4-2-0) is off to its best start since 2002.

Guerrero Made ten saves and allowed just one goal during the weekend as the Pilots defeated Cal Poly 2-0 on Friday and No. 17 Creighton 2-1 on Sunday to win the Husky Fever Classic in Seattle, Wash. The 2-0 blanking of Cal Poly is his third shutout this season and the 13th of his career, which ranks fifth all-time in UP program history. Made a season-high nine stops against the Bluejays on Sunday, including two in the closing minute to preserve the upset. Lowered his GAA to 0.97 on the season.

Herrick went 1-0-1 in the opening weekend of West Coast Conference play...notched 10 saves on the weekend (5 vs. Gonzaga and 5 vs. No. 18 Portland) and a 0.45 goals against average, only giving up one goal to No. 18 Portland...holds a 0.81 goals against average through nine games...has played in all 889:46 minutes for the Gaels, holding a 5-1-3 overall record...the Gaels beat Gonzaga 2-0 on Friday for Herrick's second shutout of the season...on Sunday, the Gaels tied with No. 18 Portland.

Warner scored two goals and handed out an assist as the Pilots split their two conference games during the weekend. On Friday, scored UP's only goal on a penalty kick during a 2-1 loss to San Diego. On Sunday, scored the game-winner in the 18th minute of a 3-1 win over LMU; Also assisted on Jarad van Schaik's goal in the 56th minute. Leads the team this season with five goals, four assists and 14 points.

Cohn was a key reason the Toreros defeated Saint Mary's and Santa Clara to remain in first place with his tenacious defense helping out the Torero backfield. Luke scored four goals as Portland played Gonzaga to a 2-2 draw on Wednesday in Spokane and defeated the Bulldogs 5-1 on Sunday at the Clive Charles Soccer Complex. During the tie, Luke scored once before the half and once after to give the Pilots a 2-0 lead. On Sunday, Luke scored two more goals as the Pilots cruised to the four-goal win. Again he scored once before the break and again after, giving him five goals on the season. Luke is tied with Warner for the team high in goals.

Chinn turned in a seven-point weekend, helping the Dons record a split. The reigning WCC Player of the Year, Chinn recorded his second career hat trick against Loyola Marymount in USF's 3-1 triumph on Sunday. Both of Chinn's hat tricks came against LMU with the other coming in Los Angeles on November 16 of last year. Chinn fired a career-high 13 shots Sunday against the Lions with 11 of them on frame. The preseason All-American has recorded seven goals in his last three matches against Loyola Marymount. Chinn added his third assist of the season Friday night against No. 19 San Diego. After the seven-point weekend Chinn has a team-high eight goals on the season, two game-winners and 19 points. For his career, the San Diego native has 35 goals, 11 game-winners, 12 assists and 82 points in 72 career matches. For his exploits, Chinn was named to the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week (ending Nov. 1).

Sampson marked his final weekend at Sullivan Field with a pair of victories to help LMU climb from last place in the WCC into a tie for third heading into the last week of play. Sampson started Friday's game against Gonzaga on the bench but replaced Max Young at halftime with the score tied at 1-1. Called into action for the final 45 minutes, Sampson made three saves to shut out the Bulldogs as LMU rallied from a 1-0 deficit for a 2-1 victory. The three saves put him at 100 for his career. On Sunday, Sampson was one of seven LMU seniors honored in the final home game of 2009 and then went out to record his fifth career clean sheet, and first of the season, making two saves to blank Portland. Thanks in part to Sampson, LMU's two wins on the weekend allowed it to top last season's overall and WCC win totals, putting the Lions one victory shy of their first 10-win season since 2004. Despite losing two matches Barnum was spectacular in goal...at LMU Friday the Lions launched 23 shots, 14 on goal as Barnum made a career and season-high 12 saves to become Gonzaga's all-time single-season saves leader with 92, surpassing the 91 of Mike McCarthy in 2002...the match-tying goal was a penalty kick...five of his saves were shots in which he was tested, making diving saves or kick saves to deny the goal...Sunday at San Diego the Toreros took 14 shots, 8 on goal and the match was decided on a penalty kick in overtime...Barnum had seven saves - three tough saves to deny USD - to run his Gonzaga career-leading saves total to 99, which also leads the WCC this year...he had a .864 saves percentage and his .824 saves percentage for the season may still lead the WCC...he has played all but 90 minutes of Gonzaga's matches this season - giving way in the second half in two matches this season...he has four shutouts this year. |
