Loyola Marymount's Sheree Shea is the WCC Women's Cross Country Player of the Month

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference is pleased to recognize its November Women's Cross Country Player of the Month, Sheree Shea from Loyola Marymount University.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY PLAYER OF THE MONTH
SHEREE SHEA, SR., LOYOLA MARYMOUNT
Loyola Marymount senior Sheree Shea is the WCC Women's Cross Country Player of the Month for November. Shea finished with a personal record time of 19:54.62 at the NCAA West Regionals, besting her previous record by 39 seconds. The senior was the top finisher in the regional from the WCC, finishing in 11th place and earned an individual spot in the NCAA National Championships field.

At the NCAA National Championships, Shea finished with a time of 21:23.2 to earn 181st place on the 6K course at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky.
