SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- Only three seeds have been confirmed for the 2013 West Coast Conference Basketball Championships, which begin March 6 in Las Vegas. The other six slots will be filled in this weekend.

WCC QUICK HITS

  • Entering the season's final weekend, only three seeds are known for the 2013 West Coast Conference Basketball Championships next week in Las Vegas. The other six remain up for grabs. For more on tiebreaker scenarios and possible seeds, please see the PDF above.

  • No. 2 Gonzaga clinched a share of the West Coast Conference title last week, and the Bulldogs will be the top seed at next week's WCC tournament. The Bulldogs have won or shared the WCC regular season crown in 12 of the last 13 seasons.

  • In this week's RPI report from the NCAA, Gonzaga ranks 10th nationally amongst 347 Division I schools. Saint Mary's is No. 43, and BYU is 58th. The RPI is an important factor in helping select at-large bids for the 68-team NCAA Tournament in March.

  • The 2013 West Coast Conference Basketball Championships in Las Vegas are sold out. Limited single game tickets are expected to be available each game day at the Orleans Arena box office.

  • This week's Game of the Week features Portland at Santa Clara on Saturday at 2:00. The game will be followed by "WCC This Week," and can be seen live on Time Warner Cable SportsNet, Comcast SportsNet California, and ROOT Sports.

  • Only five Division I teams have won at least 25 games in each of the last five seasons. Three of those teams (BYU, Gonzaga, Saint Mary's) call the WCC home. The other two: Duke, Kansas.
